Bound up with questions of dwelling, home and dreams, the bed base becomes in this work both palette and support for dreaming, a source of inspiration and of going beyond, sketch and end point. It is at once the work from which the artist draws his desire for colour and the one onto which he projects the building of his imaginary landscape.
A colour abstraction of the Fragments of Joy project, the work is also a flag, a voice for the struggles of LGBTQIA+ minorities.
Winner of the “L’art dans la ville” project, Altarea x Beaux-Arts de Paris.
