Daniel Nicolaevsky was born in 1991 in Rio de Janeiro. He lives and works in Paris.
A transdisciplinary artist, he develops a body of work spanning painting, installation, sculpture and performance. His work addresses questions of memory and justice.
In 2019, he received the Prix des Amis des Beaux-Arts de Paris.
In 2026, he takes part in Monet, Monet, Monet, marking the centenary of Claude Monet’s death.
In 2027, he will represent Brazil for the first time at the Beaufort Triennial of contemporary art in Belgium.
