"Terra", the third painting in the "Cradle of the World" project, offers an imaginary vision of the indigenous peoples of Venezuela and Brazil. This artistic representation highlights the tragedy experienced by some of these peoples, who have been deliberately driven to starvation and destruction by Jair Bolsonaro's regime.
In this work, I explore the devastating consequences of government policies on indigenous populations, highlighting the challenges they face in preserving their way of life and cultural heritage in the face of outside forces. "Terra" thus poignantly evokes the socio-environmental issues facing these communities.
